Kano Shuts Down School Where Kidnappers Buried Five-Year-Old Victim

The Kano State Government says it has ordered the closure of a private school, Noble Kids Academy, at Kwanar Dakata, in the Nassarawa Local Government Area, where suspected kidnappers buried their victim, Hanifa Abubakar, aged five.

Hanifa was said to have been kidnapped at Kwanar Dakata in the metropolis by her teacher, Abdulmalik.

The State Commissioner for Education, Muhammad Kiru, who announced the closure of the school, said that policemen discovered the corpse of the victim where it was buried in the private school.

The Commissioner said the state government would start to investigate the unregistered private schools and teachers.
