Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is hosting 16 other governors Southern Nigeria at the State House, Alausa, Ikeja.
This is coming eight weeks after the meeting of the 17 southern governors met in Asaba, the Delta State capital. The governors had at the meeting resolved to ban grazing in their states. They had also called for fiscal federalism, restructuring and state police.

The southern governors are, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Adegboyega Oyetola (Osun), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Godwin Obaseki (Edo) , Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Emmanuel Udom (Akwa Ibom), Diri Duoye (Bayelsa), Willie Obiano (Anambra), Ben Ayade (Cross Rivers), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta), David Umahi (Ebonyi), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), and Oluwaseyi Makinde (Oyo).
