The Chief of Army Staff, Major- General Farouk Yahaya has made new appointment of principal staff officers, field commanders and others.
This was revealed in a statement by Director Army Public Relations, Onyema Nwachukwu.
The statement read: “Maj Gen BO Sawyer, Commandant Nigerian Army Armoured School, now the new Director Defence Information
“Maj Gen IM Yusuf, Chief of Operations Army, now the Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy.
“Maj Gen TA Gagariga, Army Headquarters Department of Policy and Plans now Corps Commander Artillery Nigerian Army Artillery Corps.
“Maj Gen VO Ezugwu, Training and Doctrine Command now Commander Infantry Corps.
“Maj Gen MA Yekini, now new Chief of Defence Training and Operations.
“Maj Gen MS Yusuf now Chief of Defence Standard and Evaluation.
“Maj Gen AB Omozoje, Chief of Civil – Military Affairs, now Chief of Policy and Plans at the Army Headquarters
“Maj Gen SO Olabanji now Commander Training and Doctrine Command.

“Maj Gen OA Akintade now new Chief of Army Logistics.
