“Unknown gunmen” have stormed Hilltop International Premium Hotel at Tunga-Maje in Gwagwalada Area of the Federal Capital Territory where they kidnapped a former of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Friday Makama, and eight others.
The gunmen who were reportedly up to 15 in number stormed the hotel at about 11:27 pm on Wednesday when Makama and some of his kinsmen had gathered at the hotel to plan for a community reconciliation meeting.

Police spokesperson for the FCT, Mariam Yusuf who confirmed the incident said that the command had launched a strategic operation to rescue the victims.
