The Kwara State Police Command says it has discovered the corpse of woman in Premium Diamond Hotel in the Adewole area of Ilorin.
A statement by the Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi said the woman whose remains were found on May 28, was yet to be identified.
According to him, the supervisor of the hotel, Olalekan Anafi, reported that one Adegboye James of number 12, Okelowo Street, Ede, Osun State, lodged at the hotel.

He said the hotel supervisor reported that James was with a woman but later went out of the hotel though no one knew when he did.
The hotel management later opened the door to the room with a spare key and discovered the lifeless body of the woman.
The PPRO said the police were on the trail of the guest while adding that the name and the phone number he gave were fake.
He called on any member of the public in search of a female ward to visit the homicide section of the state police command, to identify the corpse for possible release.
