President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, approved the appointment of Balarabe Shehu Ilelah, as the Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission.

The veteran broadcaster’s appointment was announced by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in a statement issued in Abuja
Ilelah’s appointment “is for a tenure of five years in the first instance,” he said.
