Fire has gutted the Federal Secretariat in Asaba, capital of Delta State.
The fire was said to have started in the early hours of Tuesday. The secretariat is a complex housing annex offices of federal ministries, departments and agencies in the state.

The fire service, it was learned could not combat the fire and so had to call for reinforcement.
