The Registrar of the National Examinations Council, Professor Godswill Obioma has been killed by yet-to-be identified suspected gunmen.
Obioma became the head of the examination body in 2020.

He succeeded Professor Charles Uwakwe who was sacked along with four other officials of the Council over an allegation of misconduct.
