Governor Ayade Sacks Four Commissioners, Five Aides

The Governor of Cross River State, Prof Ben Ayade has sacked four commissioners and five other aides in his administration.

His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita, revealed this in a statement.

“The State Governor, His Excellency, Prof Ben Ayade has approved the relief of the following persons of their appointments: Mr Mike Usibe (Commissioner for New Cities Development), Rita Ayim (Commissioner for Women Affairs), Mr Asu Okang ( Commissioner for Information and Orientation), and Ntufam Donatus Etim (Commissioner for Climate Change and Forestry).

“Similarly, the underlisted persons have also been relieved of their appointments: Mr Leo Inyambe, Rt Hon Orok Otu Duke, Mr. Victor Okon (Alausa), Mr John Etim Bassey and Hon Agbiji Mbeh Agbiji.

“Consequently, they are hereby directed to return government properties and vehicles in their care with immediate effect to the Chief Staff to the governor.

“His Excellency thanks them for their services to the state and wishes them well in their future endeavours.”
