The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has warned about the clandestine moves of certain groups to have Sharia law operate in the South-West even as the public hearing on constitutional amendment continues.
The President of PFN, Bishop Wale Oke, issued the warning in a statement by his Media Office on Thursday.

Oke said the move could add to the numerous problems facing the country.
He urged the Senate not to give in to the pressure which could cause a major religious crisis in the country.
“The problems confronting our nation are enormous than wanting to create more. Sharia law is alien to our culture of religious existence in the South-West. As such, nobody should through any subterfuge, bring it in to cause crisis,” he said.
