The Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen Ibrahim Attahiru and other military personnel who died with him in a plane crash on Friday, have been buried at the military cemetery.
Their internment followed prayers at the National Mosque and the National Ecumenical Centre, both in Abuja.

Attahiru who died four months after his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari was 54 years old.
