Wabba To El-Rufai: Come And Arrest Me, I’m Waiting For You

The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba, has dared Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna state to make his good his threat to get him arrested.

Wabba on Monday led workers in Kaduna State their warning strike  protesting against  El-Rufai’s decision to sack workers in the state.

Economic and social activities had  been grounded as  because of the strike.

In his reaction via Twitter on Monday, El -Rufai, complained that the NLC  shut down electricity and embarked on coercion and restraints of personal freedom, trespass into public facilities and denial of access to healthcare for several of our citizens.”

On Tuesday, the governor  via Twitter said, “Ayuba Wabba & others of @NLCHeadquarters declared wanted for economic sabotage & attacks on public infrastructure under Miscellaneous Offences Act. Anyone that knows where he is hiding should send a message to @MOJKaduna KDSG. There will be a handsome reward!”

But Wabba reacted thus:  “Let him come and arrest me. We are here and waiting for them,”
