Eid-El-Fitri: Local Council Aspirant Task Nigerians On Peaceful Coexistence

A Chairmanship aspirant under the All Progressives  Congress (APC) in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (ELCDA), Lagos, Hon. Peter Ajayi has expressed his best wishes to Muslim faithful in the local government, State and Nigeria at large, charging them to embrace love for peaceful coexistence.

In a statement issued by his media office on Friday, Ajayi admonished residents of the community to continue to uphold the sanctity of the festive season, urging Nigerians to embrace love and forgiveness for peaceful co-existence.

“Eld- el-fitri is a blessed season when Muslims around the world reflect upon the divine virtues, wisdom and guidance that come with faith, and the moral obligations that human beings have to one another, and to God”, said Ajayi.

He stated ” Eld-el-fitr  is also a divine season of intense devotion, reflection and solemnity – a time when Muslims provide support , love, solidarity and deep forgiveness to others to advance opportunity and prosperity for people all around them.

“All of us regardless our religious affinities must remember that Ejigbo of our dream, the community we want to build and the changes that we want to make must begin in our own hearts, and must also be driven by love,forgiveness and peace”.
