FG Re-Introduces Nationwide  COVID-19 Restrictions On Religious, Social Gatherings

 The Federal  Government has  reintroduced  the nationwide  restrictions on religious and social gatherings to curb the spread of COVID-19.

It also re-imposed a  nationwide 12am to 4am curfew  which takes effect from the midnight of Monday.

The National Incident Manager, Mukhtar Mohammed, revealed the new developments  at a press briefing of the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 in Abuja.

According to him  night clubs, gyms and others would remain closed till further notice with effect from Tuesday. He said gatherings of religious groups and weddings and other social events  have been reduced to 50 percent attendance. He stated that  official engagements, meetings and conferences  are to continue to hold virtually.
