The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has on Tuesday, met with the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai at the State Government House, Kaduna.
Present at the meeting were key cabinet members of the state government and top leaders of the RCCG.
The RCCG General Overseer had recently confirmed the release of the eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who were recently kidnapped.
He confirmed this via Twitter. The cleric had written: “Today I got the exciting news that our brethren who were in captivity of kidnappers have all been released and taken to the Hospital for checkup and tests.

“Glory be to Jesus.
“We pray for lasting peace in all troubled regions of the country in Jesus name,” Adeboye wrote.
The abducted RCCG members were kidnapped by bandits on their way to Kafanchan where they were going for a missionary work.
A senior pastor of the church had confirmed that the kidnappers were demanding N50million ransom.
