The Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, says it has not endorsed National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu for the 2023 presidential election.
The group also said it had not endorsed any candidate.
This denial debunked a statement leader of South West Agenda, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, suggesting that his group had obtained the endorsement for Tinubu.

The group said the position of its erstwhile leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti who expressed support for Tinubu was not that of the group as it was still mourning its recently deceased spokesman, Yinka Odumakin.
Afenifere Director of Communications, Sola Lawal, said in a statement: “The Adeyeye foray into Afenifere space at this period of huge loss and intense mourning is disrespectful , insensitive and unwarranted.
“Being a former Afenifere top notch and, infact , Odumakin’s immediate predecessor in office as spokesperson for Afenifere, Adeyeye should cease all activities and join us in mourning at this trying times.”
