President of Women Arise for Change Initiative, Dr. Josephine Okei-Odumakin is seriously mourning her husband, Yinka, the spokesman of Afenifere and renown human rights activist.
In her response to a call made by The PUNCH to her, she said:
“A part of me is gone. A part of me is gone. He fought hard at the intensive care unit. Pray for me to survive this. My love is gone.
“He was OK before. Even on March 10 he was still attending meetings. He was recovering yesterday but he died this morning. I am at the intensive care unit. A part of me is gone.”
TheseTimes learned that Yinka Odumakin who had suffered a partial stroke and was diabetic, contracted COVID-19.

His underlining illness complicated his condition. He was said to have had a breathing difficulty and placed under a ventilator.

Odumakin died in the early hours of Saturday.
