Two senior federal civil servants and two others have been arrested by the operatives of National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons over an alleged involvement in human trafficking.

The senior civil servants were working in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Alhaji Ahmed Idris. They were a Chief Accountant on Grade Level 14, Innocent Bola-Audu, and an Assistant Executive Officer on Grade Level 13, Cecilia Aneke.
It was learnt that they had been charged to court already for their alleged offence.
