Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, and his counterparts; Dapo Abiodun, Gboyega Oyetola and Kayode Fayemi, being governors of Ogun, Oyo and Ekiti States, respectively, are not able to travel to Kano for the ongoing 12th Bola Tinubu Colloquium because of poor weather condition.
They are forced to stay at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja where they monitor the event virtually.
Also staying at the airport to monitor the event are Senators Kashim Shettima, Solomon Adeola, Tokunbo Abiru and Opeyemi Bamidele.

TheseTimes had earlier reported that media aide to Vice –President Yemi Osinbajo, Laolu Akande had said in a tweet that the nation’s deputy helmsman would not be able to travel to the venue of the event because of poor weather and that he would monitor the event alongside President Muhammadu Buhari.
Also physically absent at the event for the same reason of poor weather are Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, among others.
